The **East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Company** conducted a two-day specialized training programme for instructors of **Bandari College Dar es Salaam** from **8th to 9th May 2025**. The training was aimed at enhancing the knowledge and technical capacity of College instructors in the operation and management of heavy lifting equipment.

The programme focused on improving participants' understanding and practical skills in the safe operation of **overhead crane systems**, which are widely used in industrial, construction, logistics, and transportation environments. Through this training, Bandari College instructors gained essential competencies related to crane operations, workplace safety procedures, equipment handling techniques, and best practices for lifting operations.

The training was facilitated by **Mr. Pieter Hinrichsen** from **RGM – PM Piping, South Africa**, who provided participants with valuable technical insights and practical guidance based on international industry standards and operational experience.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen professional capacity and promote skills development within strategic sectors such as construction, energy, transport, and logistics. By equipping its trainers with advanced technical knowledge, Bandari College is enhancing its ability to deliver industry-focused training programmes that respond to current and future workforce requirements.
