The Director General of the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) paid a visit to the TPA exhibition pavilion during the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF)

The Director General of the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA), Mr. Plasduce Mbossa, paid a visit to the TPA exhibition pavilion during the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), currently taking place at the Julius Nyerere Grounds (Sabasaba) in Dar es Salaam.

During his visit, Mr. Mbossa was warmly received by the Principal of Bandari College, Dr. Lufunyo Hussein, who provided a comprehensive overview of the significant investments that have been made in the College over recent years. The presentation highlighted the institution's continued transformation through the expansion of modern training facilities, enhancement of learning infrastructure, acquisition of advanced maritime and port training equipment, and the introduction of competency-based academic programmes designed to meet the evolving needs of the maritime and logistics industry.

Dr. Hussein further explained how these strategic investments have strengthened the College's capacity to produce highly skilled professionals equipped with the knowledge, technical expertise, and practical competencies required to support the efficient management and operation of Tanzania's ports. He emphasized that the College continues to play a pivotal role in developing a competent workforce that contributes directly to the growth, modernization, and competitiveness of the country's maritime transport and logistics sector.
