Bandari College Graduates 794 Diploma and Certificate Students During the 23rd Graduation Ceremony
The **Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, Prof. Godius Kahyarara**, awarded certificates to **794 graduates** who successfully completed **Diploma and Certificate programmes** during the **23rd Graduation Ceremony of Bandari College Dar es Salaam (BCD)** held on **6th December 2024** at the College grounds in Temeke, Dar es Salaam.
Bandari College Instructors Receive Training on Enhanced Student Results Management System
On **23rd January 2025**, instructors of **Bandari College Dar es Salaam (BCD)** participated in an orientation training programme following improvements made to the College’s **student results management system**.
The training was conducted by a team of experts from the **Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate**, in collaboration with the **Academic, Research and Consultancy Unit**, with the objective of equipping instructors with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the upgraded system.
Bandari College Concludes Reach Stacker Operator Training for Geita Gold Mining Employees
**Bandari College Dar es Salaam (BCD)** has officially concluded a specialized training programme for **Reach Stacker Operators** conducted for employees of **Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML)**. The training was successfully delivered at the GGML mining site from **30th September to 11th October 2024**.
The programme was designed to equip participants with the necessary technical knowledge and practical skills required for the safe and efficient operation of Reach Stacker equipment. The training focused on enhancing operators’ competencies in equipment handling, operational safety procedures, preventive measures, and best practices for improving productivity in industrial and logistics environments.
Bandari College Conducts One-Week Oil and Gas Training Programme to Enhance Professional Capacity
**Bandari College Dar es Salaam (BCD)** is conducting a one-week specialized training programme in the field of **Oil and Gas** aimed at enhancing participants’ technical knowledge, professional competence, and ability to perform their responsibilities with greater efficiency and expertise.
The training programme was officially opened by the **Acting Principal of Bandari College, Mr. Paul Humbi**, who encouraged participants to actively engage throughout the programme and utilize the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and industry-based skills that will contribute to improved performance in their respective workplaces.

As part of its continued efforts to establish strategic partnerships with leading educational and training institutions around the world, **Bandari College Dar es Salaam (BCD)** hosted a delegation from the **Adani Skill Development Centre, India**, on **23rd January 2025**.
The visit focused on reviewing and assessing a dedicated facility at Bandari College that will support the delivery of **online and technology-based training programmes**. The initiative forms part of the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions aimed at expanding access to modern learning approaches and integrating digital solutions into professional training.
